Jacob Epstein talks about his work in wartime

Jacob Epstein is interviewed during the Second World War about his work.

Sir Jacob Epstein (1880 – 1959) was a British-American sculptor, one of the pioneers of contemporary sculpture.  He was born in the United States, but became a British citizen in 1910.

In this extract from a wartime interview he talks about his creative process and how it relates to music and is affected by the issues of war.
